sandwich classic

Today i tried another bakery. Luxe in Newtown. Sourdoug bread, cheese, lots of smoked ham, dijon mustard and tomatoes. I have not had that classic combo for a while; a happy taste-return!
I bought a loaf of that bread to bring home and got a ciabatta for free. Funny. Maybe the revealing story of the history of ciabatta has made it unpopular? I am not really sure if thats the case though.
